The Company

Charmza Literary Club is a community-driven literary organization focused on nurturing writers, storytellers, performers, and young creatives.

What makes us unique is our direct connection with communities and readers. We do not wait for people to come to literature — we take literature to the people.

Through community activations, storytelling sessions, poetry gatherings, school visits, theatre productions, workshops, and book events, we create meaningful interactions between authors and audiences.

We also work hands-on with our authors by training, mentoring, assisting with performance and public speaking, developing their personal brands, and guiding them through publishing and marketing.

To develop, publish, promote, and celebrate African stories while creating direct access between authors and communities through literature, storytelling, theatre, and creative education.

Established 2021 (Operational since 2008)

Charmza Literary Club is a dynamic publishing house based in the Free State.

Though officially registered in 2021, it has been operational since 2008. To date, it has published over 100 books and empowered over 40 first-time authors from the Free State. The organization supports writers across all levels, beginners, intermediate, and Experienced and has a proven track record in book sales and distribution across South Africa.
